DevLog SteamShock#02 - New Developments


Hello There!

So we've been progressing steadily on all major fronts for the game, our main artist Ana was able to finish the idle animation( see down bellow) for our main Charachter ( which we are having problems deciding a name for, we've been stuck on ideas now on the names Jasper, Callum, Archie,Ollie, Rex). 

Code wise our main coder Axel was developing the code for the Camera movement, having a limiting barrier inside a the camera area where the camera wouldn't move until our character reach a predetermined limit on each side of the screen. As well as he has been looking  arround sounds for the game as well.

Also we've been looking onto how our background is going to be set for the game itself, where we were having disparities on a bg that would fit the platforms ( with a paralax effect), or a BG " illustration" like the one we posted on our last DevLog ( credit to our asset Artist Igor ) that would just set an ambient for each level.
